Is it possible to change recent posts on main page?

Hello,
I use Klean theme, thank you for your work so much! I’m a begginner, and can hardly personalize it like on the sample, but my main problem is that I love the animated boxes for recent posts so much, but i need them fixed. I mean i want my 3 main activities (portfolio) there. Is it possible some how? I culd make posts as portfolio, but I would like to have other posts too, so they would not be the recent…. I tried to give different categerory to a post, because it culd be a solution for examle if only an exact category would appear on the main page, but it didn’t help. I dont’t want to chagne theme, can you say something? I hope you can understand what i’m trying to ask. Thank you very much!
