• the theme I inherited has three top level menu items on the primary menu
when I try to add a new page as the fourth top level item thru
appearance – menu, it positions below the third & not to the right, for example,

    ITEM 1 ITEM 2 ITEM 3
    ITEM 4

    should be:
    ITEM 1 ITEM 2 ITEM 3 ITEM 4

what files do I need to amend to create the fourth placeholder or
would reducing the font size release space for a fourth?

  • You need to increase the container size, The fourth item falling down because it dosen’t have space to fit there. reducing the font size will work, if it gets the space to fit.

thank you for the quick response
how can I increase the container size, what file holds that information?

It will be in your style.css file, you have css knowledge then you can do it else hire the developer.

I reduced the font size in the style.css but the fourth menu item remained on the row below.
how can I alter the main navigation bar to include all four menu items in one row.
Is it the container size, if so what file should I change?
