Problem with Permalinks beacuse of "preg_match"
-
Hi all
Since i was hacked and moved my content to a new server i have problem with the permalinks. I set my Permalink structure to “/%postname%/”
If i want to post an article in the admin, i get following error message:
Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match.php]: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in XXX/wp-includes/class-wp.php on line 207 Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match.php]: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in XXX/wp-includes/class-wp.php on line 208
The same error i get when i open a single article.
I don’t get the error if i change the permalink structure back to default but i need to have the postname permalinks.
In this forum i’ve seen many users with the same problem and i tried to fix the problem with the help of the answers in that posts. But no one works.
I tried following things:
– deactivated all plugins, error still exists
– deleted all data in wp-admin and wp-includes and uploaded it again from new installation, error still exists
– changed the theme to twentyfifteen
– changed .htaccess, error still exists.Do you have any idea what i can try to fix the problem?
