Theme installation

  • Hii, i have downloaded a theme named ESPRESSO from themeforest.net,when i installed the them zip folder into wordpress and activated it is not working at all as showed in live preview showed in their website.

    They are asking me to give the hosting details and cpanel login details and an extra charge of 50$ only for installation,i know installation and custamization but no use with this kind of people.

    So even after i payed them later can i download the exact theme files which is 100% customizable from cpanel of my hosting site.

    So where exactly after installation this theme foles are goong to ge stored how to download the folder as i am admin to my cpanel?

  • Hello sudheeraluru,

    Often themes from outside the www.remarpro.com directory use frameworks to get the pages to look how they appear on their advert sites.

    This means, that you will need to do a lot of customisation, using the admin screen that the particular theme adds. Once those customisations have been made the settings should be stored in the WordPress database for your site.

    So as for downloading the customised and set up site, you would need to download the theme directory and a backup of your MySQL database for that site.

    If you then wanted to use them for another domain you will need to look at these instructions more information.
