I need to block www links (not http) in comments?

I have WP configured to put all comments links into moderation, but it only seems to affect links with the “https://”.

WordPress seems to automatically highlight and link anything that looks like a website or an email address, such as “www.knowingart.com” or [email protected]

I don’t necessarily want to put anything with “www.” into moderation, although that would be nice too, but I definitely don’t want WordPress automatically linking out automatically, even if it’s “nofollow”, this is just behavior I don’t want.

I don’t see an option in the admin panels to turn this off. I know I’ll need to start hacking code. I’m wondering what’s the file or function I need to edit?
