Can't add new site to my multisite

  • Hi,

    I can’t add new site to my multisite (www.donniya.com) nor access to its dashboard. I’ve deleted and added new site several times but it’s just not working: no access to the dashboard nor to the site itself. I’ve checked .htaccess file + wp-config.php and they are as they should be configuration wise.

    It will be really much appreciate and extremely helpful if someone can have a look into this and let me know what I’m doing wrong or not doing to get the new site live.

    When you mentioned, you’re not having access to the dashboard, whats the error you’re getting?

    Also, are you sure your user has the super admin role assigned to it, which is needed to create new sites on multisite?

    The error I’m getting when trying o access the new site dashboard is “Sorry, the website fr.donniya.com cannot be found”.

    I’m the super admin (and the only user).

    For the sub domain you’ve mentioned, I can see there are no “A Records” set to point it to the server where your WordPress is hosted. All you need to do is, create an “A Record” for that subdomain, or to make things easier, you can create a wildcard entry with “*.donniya.com” to point to your WordPress server, that way, you won’t have to create it every time you create a new site on your MU WordPress
