2.5 breaks tag clouds and categories

    Hey,

    I have upgraded to WP 2.5 RC1 yesterday and noticed that there are some problems with tag clouds and categories. Have a look at the first post on my site and look at the ‘Posted in’ part. For some reason it’s used the comments count as the category, when it should say ‘travelogues’. The ink is correct, though. Then if you scroll down, you see that in the tag cloud some tags have been merged together.

    Does anybody know what is going on?

    Alright, found it out. I am using the language switcher plugin and for that I need the length of the names in the database to be 200, which it was before WP 2.5, but when I upgraded to 2.5 it got reset to 35 or something and it cut off lots of language switcher tags and therefore messed everything up. Had to manually edit each tag and it all works like a charm now…

    I lost cats and pages with the upgrade to 2.5 from 1.2.?. I changed the wp_config file but that made no difference. Any thoughts?

    And tag cloud is not upgraded …
