Show event's category in widget

    First of all congratulations for this excellent plugin.

    I would like to ask, something that i don’t find an answer…

    can i show the event’s category at the WP widget Upcoming Events?
    I would like the category for example to be showed up before or after the event title…

    Sorry for not replying sooner. Not with the Upcoming Events widget, it requires changes in the code, but something similar can be achieved by installing Advanced Text Widget plugin and using [ai1ec view=”agenda”] shortcode with that widget. Agenda view has categories in the content.

    where must i using [ai1ec view=”agenda”] that the category shows?

    Please go to Appearance > Widgets in the WordPress Administration Screens. Choose “Advanced text widget”, drag it to the sidebar where you wish it to appear and add shortcode.
