Is there a way to view the dropdown menu in mobile view without being navigated to the page selected to open a view of it’s subpages?

When 2nd level pages are selected to show their submenu pages (3rd level pages), the user is navigated to the top level page immediately, leaving no time to read and select a submenu page.

    My site: https://northjerseytermite.com/dev/

For example: On a mobile device, try to navigate to Termite Control – Termidor? Treatment – Peace of Mind with Termidor?.

Perhaps when you click on the menu in mobile view, it should fully expand? Is that possible?

This issue affects Android mobile devices – the workaround is to long-press on menu to see the submenu pages. Then click back to clear the popup and see the submenu list.

    Hi Imran,

The menu works flawlessly on an iPhone, and is operational for Android users but not a very intuitive manner.

Android users must first long-press the menu item. Then, they are greeted with a pop-up giving options to open the link in new tab, open incognito, etc. The Android User must then use the back button to escape the popup, and then they can see the dropdown list for menu items that have submenu items.

If you have access to an android device you can see this menu behavior on my site, now at ecbiz194.inmotionhosting.com/~northj7/

The menu operates like this on all Android devices I tested, using my site as well as the Appointment theme demo site.

I think this is because the Appointment theme menu reacts to hover behavior.

To hover on an Android device, the user must actually long-press the link as described above, then hit “back” when the options pop up.

To make the menu mobile-friendly for both iOS AND Android users, the menu would completely open upon touch, showing all menu items, including submenu items, etc.

Is there any way to get that to happen?
