    Hi Dan,

Very sorry for the inconvenience. This is strange; as I am sure more people would have reported this type of issue. So, I’m wondering if it is not something unique to your install.

    1) Does this happen only with WP Edit? Have you installed other plugins successfully?

    2) After activating WP Edit; and you are redirected to the error page… if you then go back to your admin panel; are you able to access the WP Edit settings page?

    3) If you go back to the admin plugins listing page; do you see WP Edit activated? What happens if you click the “Settings” link (right under the plugin name)?

    Thanks.

    Hi,
I am also wondering about this..
    1) It only happen with WP Edit, I had the old TinyMCE after I update it, I got a recommendation to update to WP Edit. I did as instructed, deactivate the TinyMCE plugin then deleted it. Then I installed the WP Edit from the WP plugins section. after the install I activated the plugin and was redirected to the 404 page.
    Other plugins works fine.
2)If I try to get to the WP Edit settings page from the menu I get redirected to the 404 page
    3)Yes, the plugin is activated.

    Thank you again,
    Dan

    Hi Dan,
    Sorry for my delay.

Did you make any progress with this issue?
If you go to the admin plugin listings page; and scroll down to WP Edit; and “HOVER” over the settings link… can you copy and paste that link here for me to see?

Basically, I’d like to see where the settings link is redirecting you.

    Thanks.

    Hi
Currently it’s not a big problem for me so I left it as is.

The link is: [link redacted by mod]

Thank you. That link looks correct. (I removed it above)

Hmm… Do you have any other troubles with your site?
    – Pages not loading
    – Media library not working
    – Anything asking about “permissions”
