Multisite and sub domains using Plesk

    Hello

    I have managed to setup multisite but i am having problems with the sub domain.. when trying to access the second site through wordpress i get this error – The requested URL /wp-admin/ was not found on this server.

    I am using Plesk as my control panel and i have setup a sub domain from the main domain, but still no joy..

    Any suggestions?

  • It will be easier for us to advise if you can provide us more details, like:

    – your main domain
    – the subsite URL

    If you can’t provide this info, please let us know:

    – are you using subdirectory or subdomain based multisites?
    – if using subdomain based, do your hosting company allow wildcard subdomains?

    If using subdomain based and your hosting company allow wildcard subdomains, create a wildcard subdomain using the path where your multisite is installed as the document root for the wildcard (and remove the subdomain you created manually for your subsite) and it should work instantly ??

    I changed the file path of the sub domain to point to the wordpress path of the main domain folder.
