Fancy Gallery is now Gallery Manager?

    I am extremely confused. Today I saw that an unknown plugin (Gallery Manager) required updating. I did not remember installing it, though I saw on my server that there was an auto update in my Fancy-Gallery plugin folder.

    Next, it appears that when I click “Update Plugin” I will be signed up for the PRO version. Is this true?

    Last, in my Admin, the Details page for this plugin state are very strange.

    The plugin name changed but everything else becomes better than ever before.

    The Fancy Gallery plugin is discontinued and there will be no more updates and support available for that plugin.

    If you are using the WP.org version just update to the latest version of the free Gallery Manager plugin (the current version is 1.6.2) which is the successor of Fancy Gallery. The Fancy Gallery plugin will be removed automatically when you update and your galleries will be there as before.

    If you had a Pro-License of Fancy Gallery we have changed your account and you can use the update and support package for Gallery Manager now without extra fees. Your license is not lost! We just changed it. The latest version of the Gallery Manager Pro is (today) 1.3.2.

    If your Pro-License of Fancy Gallery expired you can decide if you want to stay with your old Fancy Gallery version as long as you are happy with it or you can buy a new license of Gallery Manager. The update will work flawless and your galleries will be safe. You will not lose any data!

    Thank you Dennis, all worked just as you promised.

    It took me a long time to find a gallery plugin as good as this one, I am happy it still works and looks just as good.
