    Hello there,

I am new to Seriously Simple Podcasting and have an issue, maybe I just don’t understand how everything is supposed to work, but here goes…

I created a query for the custom post type “Podcast” and have my episodes displaying quite nicely in a carousel. Each post is using the default WordPress audio player to play the podcast directly on the website. I am using Blubrry as my podcasting source (which I see is not a supported audio source), but it’s using the built-in WordPress audio player to play that source (which is a supported audio source). So I was thinking that even though I am pulling the media from Blubrry, the plugin should still count the stats because it’s using the default WordPress audio player.

I read the documentation and you mention that you support stats from the built-in WordPress audio player, but if I click on one of my episodes (which play directly on the site), when I go back to the episode (in the WordPress admin panel) I have no stats. If I go to the screen that shows all the stats (in the WordPress admin panel) it also shows no stats.

Am I thinking about this incorrectly…isn’t this supposed to count the plays from the player?

My site is: https://joshrodg.com/hallmark2/ – if you scroll all the way down to the “Latest Media” section, you’ll see my episodes (as well as the audio players).

Just trying to understand how this works.

    Thanks,
    Josh
