• Hello!

    I love my new slideshow plugin but am wondering how to get rid of the blue borders that show up around the navigation arrows and bottom pagination buttons when I click on them. I’ve already tried adding the following to my WordPress 2012 child theme styles.css file with no luck.

    a img{
    border: none;
    }

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

    Sincerely,
    Joanna

    Hi Mbrsolution,

    I just made my blog live, here’s the address:

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

    Joanna

    Hi Joanna, I had a look at the front page of your website from the URL your shared above and I can’t see any blue lines. Unless I am looking at the wrong slideshow. I tested your website using Firefox, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

    Hi Mrbsolution,

    Thanks for checking into this for me! I literally just moved that page to the root of my site so the slide show is now at wwwDOTjoanna-bakerDOTcom. The blue lines show up for me when I click on the arrows and then the blue lines stay illuminated in a box around the arrows until I click the white space somewhere on my screen.

    This happens in Safari and Chrome. In Firefox, it shows up as a black dotted line box around the arrows on my Mac and doesn’t show up at all in Firefox on my PC. I’ve gotten rid of this issue before with CSS for linked images on my website but don’t know how to do the same with a WordPress plugin. Maybe this info helps and I would really appreciate any suggestions you may have!

    Sincerely,
    Joanna

    Hi Joanna, can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fourteen or Fifteen?

    Thank you

    Hi Mrbrsolution,

    I just launched my new site and spring collection so I don’t want to test it out right now, but maybe in a couple of days I can test it out at night. Thanks!

    Sincerely,
    Joanna

    Hi Joanna, you can test a theme without installing the theme. Simply install the theme and don’t activate the theme. Then move your mouse over the theme and you will see a Live Preview button. Click on this button and you will be able to test the theme without installing the theme. No one viewing your website will be aware that you are testing a theme or themes :).

    I hope the above helps you.

    Kind regards
