Disable Ajax search (and results within the KB only)

    Can we disable the automatic ajax style search box?
    When you start typing and it tries to find results on the fly it messes up with my theme and the website screws up.

    I’d like to be able to disable this.

    Also can we make it so that search results are retrieved from the KB only?
    I don’t want it to return results from the general site. I just want to search the knowledge base.

    I have resolved the Ajax Search by commenting out the jquery.livesearch.js file.

    I actually notice that the search results only show content from my site and NOT from the kbe_knowledgebase taxonomy.

    I already have custom taxonomies (classified themed site) would this be conflicting?

    Please note I have have tried deactivating ALL my plugins and the issue still occurs
