Theme Function 'ipt_kb_scripts' issue with Child Themes

  • In the theme function ipt_kb_scripts, the wp function get_stylesheet_directory_uri is called to create the uri of each file. When the theme is extended by a child theme get_stylesheet_directory_uri points to child theme’s directory and not the parent. Change get_stylesheet_directory_uri to get_template_directory_uri to keep it pointing to parent whether it’s extended or not by a child.

    If the problem is with the CSS and JS used in the parent theme, please copy the LIB folder from the parent to the child theme. This workaround works excellent for me.
