My client has clicked something that has removed the nice front end for her website. She is using the most current Responsive theme and I even reset options, then later removed the theme and re-installed it again (switching to default WordPress theme between).

Can you help by telling us what db options might be set that is keeping the fancy front page from coming back?

    Hi,

Responsive theme options are stored in ” responsive_theme_options ” in the table “options” ( YourPrefixe_options )

if you deleted the theme , its options are not deleted from the database .

if you restore the default settings with the “Default Settings” button in
control panel , its options are deleted from the database.

You can restore options by updating responsive_theme_options from SQL backup and revalidate the theme options in wordpress control panel ( “home page” tab ).

I hope this will help you

Can you tell me which controls the front page look & feel? She was using the enhanced view and then clicked something and it went away.

BTW, I did reset the options at one point and it didn’t correct the page.

Thanks for any help you can give.

leleuf62, any other input for me? Still having a problem!

    Thanks

Did it turn out to be Appearance -> Theme options -> Home Page -> Enable Custom Front Page?
