Yourls url for achives

it may be possible now that term meta is built into core, beforehand it wasn’t doable without using a hack or other plugin. I’ll add to the feature requests in github

Archive pages get so little love, and they’re so important. I see wp shortlink gets the first product/page/post in the loop and I can’t find a way round it.

I am actually working on the taxonomies now as we speak. for wp_shortlink, it’s intended to be used with a post ID, so I’m not sure there’s a way around that. that’s a core function, not YOURLS doing it.

Thank you for the clarification. In your spare, spare time; if there were a replacement for wp_shortlink i.e. yourls_shortlink that would be fab ??

once the taxonomy work is complete, I’m going to see if I can use the existing functions I have in the plugin, or possibly make a new one to get the link for an archive page.
