It doesn’t matter how much space I put between lines of text in the editor (that is, it doesn’t matter how many times I hit ‘enter’), when I preview my site, or visit the actual page, there is zero space where I’ve done this. In the editor it looks exactly how I want it, but on the actual page, it looks like crap, because all the lines are snug up against one another instead of spaced out.

I know I can change the padding or what not in the css, but I don’t just want more space between lines, I want to be able to use my enter button to add space where I want it.

I stumbled onto a ton of other threads going back as far as five years ago asking this same question. I refuse to believe that going into the text editor and manually adding

before and after every line I want to separate with space is the most efficient way to do this.

There must be a better way! Can I really not use the enter button to create space in my pages?

Please help. Thanks.

• I don’t really understand why you have this problem. I use the same theme and for me it works. I simply hit Enter and add a line or two or more which is the same on the actual page.
I don’t know what to say, maybe the problem is in another setting.
Did you try with Shift+Enter? I’m just asking.
Sorry, I believe my comment is useless.

i have the same problem
