Smush not working plugin conflict?

    I’m having some troubles with Smush, I think it might have a conflict with the Windows Azure storage plugin for WordPress (3.0.1).

    Running the smush doesn’t seems to do anything, I just tried a bulk smush and it starts to show errors about not finding the files (which I understand got moved to Azure block storage):

    Could not find D:\home\site\wwwroot/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/design-thinking-replacement-150×150.jpgCould not find D:\home\site\wwwroot/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/replacement-150×150.jpgCould not find D:\home\site\wwwroot/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/design-thinking-lower-res-150×150.jpg

    any ideas?
