Theme inserts extra WP gallery slider window under WP Canvas gallery

    Hi! Stuck newbie here!

    What is happening, is that when I insert a WP Canvas gallery in Mosaic mode to a page, a second gallery slider appears below when the page is published.

    Through trial and error, we’ve determined that this only happens when Sugar and Spice is active.

    The second gallery is the default WP gallery in a slider view.

    It appears under any WP Canvas configuration I run.

    The page edit information, in Text view, is identical when I test run it with Classic Theme active, but the second gallery does not appear in the live view of the page.

    If anyone was a work-around to delete the superfluous gallery, I’d be grateful! We’re about to start testing more gallery plug-ins to see if any of them don’t have the same problem interacting with the theme.

    For anyone who reads this after, I’ve fixed the problem by switching my gallery plugin to JetPack Carousel mode. There’s additional fix I followed to get jetPack to work… you need to make sure

    type=”rectangle”

    or square, circle, etc.,

    is part of the gallery short code.
