    Hello,

    When deleting a backup from updraft, there is an option:

    “Are you sure that you wish to remove this backup set from UpdraftPlus?
    Also delete from remote storage”

    There is an error in Version: 1.11.28 and when you select it, it deletes every backup from Google drive not just the specific one (it deleted everything!).
    So suddenly you don’t have any backups at all !

    Please can you explain the steps necessary to reproduce that problem? It’s working correctly for me.

    And – how many archives did it say it deleted in the pop-up that reports on progress?

    Hello David,

    – I am using the free version of updraft backup.
    – I created the accounts using the following help guide. So, i created a different account for each domain

    – After i authenticated with google drive and started the backup for each account.
    – After creating backups for 3 different accounts, i wanted to delete a backup using the option ” Are you sure that you wish to remove this backup set from UpdraftPlus? Also delete from remote storage”.
    – I checked this option and proceed. In the popup mentioned 1 deleted from remote storage.
    – When verifying this from google drive, i noticed that it deleted also the backups from other domains in /updraftplus folder. So /updraftplus folder from having 3 different accounts backups, it went to none.

    Hi,

    You’re saying that if you re-run that procedure, you can reproduce the issue? I’ve tried it, but it didn’t reproduce it for me…

    Hello David,

    I tried this on 4 websites, sometimes it deletes everything, other times it deleted only the specific file.

    I also checked the Credentials and i use different credentials for each project and the latest version 1.11.28 of updraft plugin.

    So, i confirm that i can reproduce the issue.

    Hi,

    If you enable the ‘debugging’ option in the expert settings at the bottom of the ‘Settings’ tab, then a log file will be created for all deletion attempts. Please can you turn that on, reproduce the issue, and then paste the resulting log file?
