    Hi David,

I was wondering how your plugin actually linkes the images to the variations.
I’m asking that because I’d love to use your plugin in combination with an import plugin such as WPAllImport.

As I’m dealing with hundreds of products with every import, it’d be a pain to set it all manually.

Would be awesome if you’d have a solution for that.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi!

My plugin links the imagens and The variation via the variation slug.
Unless your images already have some type of information that can be related to a variation On import, I don’t see any other action than to do it manually. Either with my plugin or any other of this sort. :/

    Maybe I’m missunderstanding somethings?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answer ??
I’m very new to all this. SO I need to ask what you mean by variation slug.
Is it a field I could access with the import Plugin?
Would I see the variation images with an export plugin so I could figure out which field they are store in?

Does you Plugin store the Image ID’s or the real filenames e.g. “tshirt-red.jpg”?

    Thanks so much

    Hi,

Well, my plugin doesn’t store anything. It uses what you already have in wordpress.
I dont see anyway you will have what you want working.

From where are you importing the products?

The variation slug is for example: Red (Being the Variation name), the slug would be red (underscore)

    Hmm

    Doesn’t sound too promising though.

But the information need to be stored somewhere doesn’t it.
Otherwise also WordPress wouldn’t know about the additional images being set.

    Thanks
    Diana
