Slider not showing

  • I just installed this theme. I don’t know how to build a website, but I am figuring it out along the way. The slider bar thing that is supposed to have pictures is not showing?

    Why not? Please help

    It is easy
    step-1
    first create a page for example (homepage)
    remember to change type of this page to home by selecting home in sidebar right in page.
    step2-go to post menu and create 2 post for example s1 and s2
    remember to select an image for every post in sidebar featured image
    this image will show in slider
    remember to check this option in bottom of the page op post
    step3-go to this path appearance–>customize–>slider
    and check “show slider”
    finally click save and publish
    The slider will show in home page

    Hi! What if I want my slider to show along with my recent posts?
