Can I add a slider to the header … ?

I am building a new version of my site, and I am using Universal template to make it accesible, I know that I have to review post and pages content to make sure it is accesible.

My point is that I wanted to make it visually attractive for regular people, and I fear that adding a slider to the header is possibly not compatible.

1st question: Can I add a slider to the header?
2nd question: Can you recommend any slider plugin that is accessible or it is just imposible?
