Well, now, you have a bigger issue, as it isn’t even priting the categories for the post. I suspect you may have inadvertantly deletec the call to print them out.
Some where in your index.php, you should have a line like this:
<?php the_category('separator'); ?> IF not, then you shoudl put it back in.
