    Hi,

I’m trying Sell Media to see if it fits my current needs.

After trying to integrate it with my WP installation, I find that Sell Media shows up in the footer of the page instead of where content is loaded by all other plugins.

Shortcodes are also failing to load anything.

    Here’s a screenshot of a gallery:

Can you make sense of this?

    Cheers

Sell Media displays wherever your theme loads the_content, so this is likely a theme issue. Try activating one of the default WordPress themes, like TwentyEleven. If your theme isn’t properly coded, or loads the_content somewhere else, then you might consider switching themes if you want to use Sell Media.

Looking into the html output I attached in the OP I still find strange how Sell Media is hooking within the footer tag.

As for your suggestion, given that this is the only plugin (which I don’t use and was thinking of using) that does not hook properly with mu current WP setup, I will have to look elsewhere.

    Cheers

No problem. An easy way to test if this is theme related (which I presume it is) is to switch to the TwentyEleven or TwentySixteen theme. If the problem goes away, it’s a problem with your theme.
