How long do you think until you’ll have page support added?

a very large portion of our site consists of (mostly static) pages and we’d want them to at least work with the AMP portion of your plugin ??

I also noticed you do Apple news.. do you have any information / details on that part for us?

    Hi PPNSteve,

Perfect timing! We’re actually working on Page Support right now, literally as we speak. We will have an update with Page Support available within 24 hours.

Apple News is still in early development. Our priority right now is Google AMP and Facebook Instant Articles.

If you’re an Apple News Publisher, you may be able to help us accelerate the process! Feel free to email me via [email protected] if you’d like to chat more about this.

    Hello,
please don’t forget to include custom post types as well – many websites on WP platform have such post types.

Well I’ve got some great news! We just updated the plugin with support for Pages. The new version also includes support for Custom Post Types as well ??

So please update the plugin and take it for a spin! You’ll see Pages and Custom Post Types now available under Mobile Formats > Settings.

    Hi PPNSteve,

Taking a look at your above errors here, I went to your live preview link here https://tinyurl.com/h5qrheb and it seems like the errors aren’t showing up on my screen.

When you visit that link, are the errors showing up for you? Or is it appearing only inside the preview interface?

If it’s only showing up in the preview interface, then it could be a clash with one of the other plugins you have activated.

    Let me know!

    Hi,

OK cool, will update and check out page support ??

As for that error, I think it was an issue in the WP AMP plugin and they pushed an update yesterday that seemed to fix it.

So I updated and tested it.. upon activating and setting current pages yo use AMP, the /amp/ URL doesn’t work and redirects to 404 page (sitemap page in our case)

    Hi PPNSteve,

Just sent a response over email but would like to echo my comments here. The PageFrog plugin communicates with the AMP plugin, so make sure you have the latest versions of both plugins. If you have the latest version, try deactivating and reactivating the AMP plugin and let me know if it fixes the /amp/ issue.

    Thanks!

as noted in the email, we have tried deactivating and re-activating the AMP plugin without success.

both plugins are the latest available.

    Hi PPNSteve,

I’ve heard from several other users that since adding Pages and Custom Posts support, this type of content seems to be working by adding ?amp=1 at the end of the URL.

Posts can be accessed by adding /amp at the end of the URL. I don’t believe this discrepancy is intended and we’ll be synchronizing them all to /amp/ in an upcoming release.

Thanks for helping us discover this oddity! [ Could you stop with the signature? ]
