Getting Blog to show at blog.domain.com and not domain.com/blog

    I created the subdomain of blog.domain.com using cpanel. Doing so caused cpanel to make the directory blog under public_html->blog. So I installed wordpress into that folder thinking it would show up at blog.domain.com. But instead it shows up at domain.com/blog.

    thought it was something with
    define(‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘https://www.domain.com/blog’);
    or
    define(‘WP_HOME’, ‘https://www.blog.domain.com’);

    But that just redirected me to domain.com.

    Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thank.
