Modify Header (add features)

    How can I modify the header area? I need to add some features/html/text below navigation? Unfortunately it appears that you are using ttfmake_maybe_show_site_region( ‘header’ ) in the header.php, and I want to make my changes upgrade safe in the child theme that I am using. Any suggestions? Right now I just want to add some text and will probably create custom sidebar for that and then place a text widget below the navigation, but I have no way to add a new sidebar to the header right now. Right now my logo is aligned to the left and the navigation to the right, but because of the size of the logo, i have a lot of empty space below the navigation.

    Hi there!

    You’ll need to edit the header files in the partials folder. The file you use depends on the header layout you’ve picked in the Customizer Layout settings.

    In the child theme, recreate the partials folder and copy over the header files you want to alter. ??
