Facebook sharing of events

When our site’s events are being shared on FB, FB isnt picking up the event info. We have the Facebook plugin enabled which has fixed this issue for posts, but it isnt fixing it for the events on the clanedar. Any advice as to how to get FB to pick up the event info?
