Translation not showing

    Hello! It’s been a few days since I try to research and get my translation work properly, but it looks like WooCommerce doesn’t want to do thing. First of all, I got my 60% translation .po , and made a copy called “woocommerce-lv.po (and also .mo)” in folder called wp-content-languages/plugins as it should be in new WooCommerce version, but sadly it doesn’t show up translation (i know it’s only 50% but i searched for exact strings (for example “Add to cart” is translated but it does not show up) I installed Loco translate but it does not work. I use custom theme, but i think it shouldn’t make conflicts with it. Also tried to make Force Translation Upgrade in WooCommerce system status but it looks like i don’t have that button…
    Any advice? Thanks!

    I also tried to copy .PO in old directory wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages but still no chenges in system. structure is correct, folder correct, then what else could make mistake? Can’t figure out..

    yes i followed your guide, but it seems that moving .po to woocommerce/i18n/languages doesn’t make any change as i said. Strange..

    Before you said wp-content-languages/plugins. If this wasn’t a typo, it was wrong.

    oops, it was typo, sorry. My .po are here wp-content/languages/plugins

    You need a MO not PO

    The doc says:

    wp-content/languages/woocommerce/

    Pretty sure you’re just in the wrong place.

    ok, moved files to your suggested folder, but still nothing. Maybe system report will help for you?

    ok after deleting those .po and .mo woocommerce translation files from anywhere else expect wp-content/languages/woocommerce/ now Loco translation manager does not recognize I have woocommerce language installed. Of course it’s not problem editing them somewhere else, but isn’t it strange that it won’t recognize these files?

    Ok first I thought that translation may not work because of only 50% translation, so I made 90% translation which actually SHOULD work, but it’s not, sadly.

    Figured it out. There was conflict with po and mo files so they didn’t recognized language. ??

    djem1996, can you explain in more details how exactly you solved that conflict issue?

    I think I’m having exactly the same problem as you had.

    I have followed instructions from https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-localization/ with no success.

    Question for moderators: should I open another topic for this?
