Saving changes in default side bar

Hi there
I seem to be having trouble saving my changes to the form in my default side bar. I can see it change when I’m in customiser and it says it’s saved after I click ‘save and publish. But then it when I go into the live site, it’s not saved.
Any advice would be appreciated.
