in “customize display settings” i set # of columns to 2, but only displays 1. if i change # to 3, then displays 2 columns, but with some blank spaces in the columns.

    here is installation info:
    – WordPress up to date? yes
    – NextGEN up to date? yes
    – What version of NextGEN Gallery did you upgrade from? (i.e. I had 1.9.13, then upgraded to 2.0.61) new install

(please confirm the following, with your server host tech) :
    – MySQL up to date (at least 5.0)? yes
    – PHP up to date (at least 5.2.4)? yes
    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? yes
    – PHP Safe Mode OFF? ok

Additional information that will help us find a solution:
    – Who are you hosted with? godaddy
    – What theme are you running? zerif lite
    – Which plugins do you have installed and activated?theme customizer, dynamic widgets, huge IT portfolio gallery, pirate forms, regenerate thumbnails, wordfence
    – Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to a WordPress
Twenty series theme and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery? yes

@zhidoni – There could be some conflicts in the plugins but lets start by looking at this first-hand, can you provide a URL to the specific displays with the 2 and 3 column settings?

    Thanks!

@cais – Going to try a different solution, because i need the other plugins. I agree with you that the problem is most likely a conflict with plugins, or maybe with the theme itself. Thanks for your response to me

@zhidoni – You might also consider just using the default (read: blank) template for the thumbnails, unless you have modified the “gallery” template which could also be playing into this issue.

    Thanks!
