Improving Slider Load Speed

    Hello,

    I am using the SKT Bizness Pro theme editing the basic slider in the ‘Slider Settings’ window. https://mountsforsolar.com/

    I am wondering what I can do to improve the load speed of these sliders. The transitions are choppy and generally wont use the assigned transition effect due to slow load times.

    My slider consists of 10 images all between 5MB and 14MB JPEGS. Are these too big? Is there a way to save them down without loss of resolution? I am ideally looking for a solution that wont require the purchase of a plugin.
