Mysterious white rectangle in my sidebar

are you able to made changes to your CSS file?
do you have a CSS editor or child theme set up?

if yes, then
look for this:
#sidebar {
width: 234px;
float: right;
padding: 0 0 0 22px;
background: url(‘images/bg-sidebar.png’) no-repeat;
}

and change to:
#sidebar {
width: 234px;
float: right;
padding: 0 0 0 22px;
background: none;
}

I can, but I don’t know what I would change.
