This one kept me busy all night…. Stick with me.

    – W3 Total Cache configured to work with MaxCDN. Worked great.

Then I decide to install Varnish. In its config file, I specify not to cache any resources from Upload folder.
I configure W3 Total Cache to enable varnish cache purging.

Then I realize that now none of the images from Uploads folder are served by CDN.

I try to purge the cache, restart Varnish and Apache. But in the end I give up and I uninstall Varnish. Yet, even after that, images were still served by my server instead of CDN.

Despite all my efforts I could not make W3 Total Cache rewriting URLS for these resources anymore.
I had to disabled Total Cache CDN and use CDN Linker plugin instead so that it finally worked again.

So the results after installing Varnish is that I can no longer use Total Cache with CDN enabled…

Anyone knows what could be wrong ?
