installation woes

  • unable to install wp on wamp,
    error says:
    “you are not connected to network”
    which web browser is to be opened?
    what is root directory?
    Is intranet to be blocked or unblocked ?

  • Once it is intalled, you may use any browser, just https://localhost at the same computer or using the servers’s IP.

    please understand.
    step/tutorial says open your browser and go to https://localhost/wamp/
    Which browser ?
    offline while trying https://localhost
    the error says “you not connected to network”
    Should the intranet be blocked or unblocked?

    Any browser, it doesn’t matter.

    Same problem using 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost?

    Since you are connecting from your PC or at least your intranet, you do not need the internet connection.

    When will installation screen appear?

    Please understand I am not magician, so I need to ask in order to help you.

    Maybe another user can give you a better answer, with the information you provide I cannot, sorry.
