Shortcode not working, but default gallery code is?

Hey there developers of Photospace,
I have a question about the plugin, I would love to place the thumbnails on the bottom of the image, instead of the default thumbnails being above the image.I use the default gallery code from wordpress.

which is [gallery ids="1714,1713"]as soon as I use the default code for Photospace, the shortcode literally shows on my page: [gallery horizontal_thumb=1 num_thumb=7]
Could you please tell me now to implement the plugin correctly? So that I can work with the correct shortcode?
And perhaps explain how to get the thumbnails below the image?

but since the photospace shortcode isnt working, this isnt working either.thank you very much!
