    Hello…

    Your plugin is perfect. Besides being lightweight it is nice with a beautiful look, and contains item to reset the database (without having to install another plugin). You are the man!

    However, I think we lack a few things:

    Basics:
    1 → Making language file work
    I think you forgot to add a folder / languages ??and call it in the main plugin file. If you do I translate into Portuguese Brazil.

    2 → This plugin is a tool, not a setting. She’s in the wrong place. The correct would be to leave it with the link under “Tools.”

    Extras:
    3 → Enter important data such as:
    Size Base: 30M

    And yet … More information (optional):
    PHP Memory Limit: 256M
    PHP Max Post Size: 2M
    PHP Max Upload Size: 8M

    4 → If you could display a tab only status, stating the basic data of the system, it would be a good idea.

    5 → Insert a reset slug
    Despite not being a proper item for cleaning, but includes the database configuration. It could be inspired by this plugin:

    I inform you that I am working on a new version of this plugin which is more powerful and provides new options that resolves many of the points you have mentioned. It is scheduled to be available in one month.

    As you have said, reset slug is not a proper item for cleaning, I want to keep the plugin specialized in cleaning the database. However, I will investigate and see what I can do. Maybe a separated plugin…

    As to item 5 …
    I think there is no need to create a new plugin, if what I mentioned already does it with excellence. And Is simple. However, it is an item that should be at the core, since every new plugin installed, including the “portfolios, clients”, wordpress only accept the slug if you do a reset on the slug. (And I think it is simple and has to do with database settings).

    Like your plugin is a “utility tool” on everything that is related to things “database”, I believe it would be interesting to include – as included reset (item developer).

    I am happy to accept the request to leave it on “Tools”, and also to know that he will not be seen openly in the menu. It is important that it is always hidden. I know that almost every plugin author (unlike you) sometimes want their plugins are visible all the time. When there is not always necessary. Example: We create posts every day, pages often, etc.) and these items are to be seen all the time. Already plugins that you schedule cleaning and let him do the job alone no need to leave visible, but within tools.

    I created a file “.pot” with the plugin “loco”, and translate into Portuguese. However, as you are creating new functions, I will wait for you to update the plugin and then you pass me an email and I will send you the language files.

    Thank you very much for your interesting remarks. I will take them into consideration for next update. In what concerns the “reset database” tool already included in the plugin, I believe that is a developer item (mainly for testing purposes) and not proper to cleaning database, It will be detached in next release, a new small separated plugin will be available for resetting the database. It will be replaced, maybe, by the reset slug…maybe.
    I will inform you once update is available.

    Perhaps create a plugin with an exclusive version for developers, simple and useful tools, it might be a good idea.
