Would like to speed up the load time of Jetpack comments

    Hi Jetpack,

    I was noticing that the load time of comments is slow relative to the rest of my website – why is this? Is there a way to speed this up?

    The info you requested:
    website: https://www.charlottesogn.com (feel free to leave test comments, especially from an iPhone, to see what I’m talking about. you will have to register with the site, but that is fine with me)
    Theme: Customizr Pro v 1.2.17 (the latest)
    Jetpack: v 3.9.1 (the latest)

    Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated!

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Using Jetpack’s comment form will indeed be a bit slower than the native comment form, as the form itself is added to your site from WordPress.com via an iFrame. Whenever someone leaves a comment on your site, the comment is submitted on WordPress.com, inside the iFrame, and is then submitted back to your site to be saved locally. I’m afraid there isn’t a way to speed things up there, short of deactivating the Comments module and relying on the native comment form, where your comment is submitted and saved on your site.

    I hope this clarifies things a bit.
