Image Inside Post Changed with WordPress 4.4

    I have been using your WP Editor since September of 2015. It was just awesome until WordPress upgraded to the 4.4 release.

    It changed the way an image inserted inside a post is shown. And sometimes it generates a 403 page error

    The theme developer said it was probably a conflict with 4.4 and WP Editor and FancyBox. But not sure about it.

    I have done much research, but cannot find anyone else with the error or how to resolve it.

    Here is what is happening now.

    Example 1: This is how the image inside a post showed up before 4.4. It just opened to an image. Click on any image inside the post in the link below please.

    Example 2: This is what happens after 4.4.

    Click on any image inside the post. It opens in a page window. Then click the image again to see it fully.

    Example 3: Sometimes it produces a 403 page error.

    I always only work in Text mode, never in Visual Mode, which is what I love your editor.

    Please point my in a direction to solve this matter.

    I’m sorry for the issues you are having!

    I just tried to duplicate the issue in a clean copy of WordPress 4.4.2. When I insert an image using the “Add Media” button (https://www.dropbox.com/s/ayiuc2pc60tgh8b/Screenshot%202016-02-07%2014.27.48.png?dl=0) it works exactly the way you described in your first link.

    I am not able to duplicate either of the issues in your second and third links.

    Are you using any other plugins that override the media manager? Can you try deactivating all other plugins (except for WP Editor) to see if the issue goes away?

    Can you try deactivating WP Editor and see if the issue goes away?

    Can you deactivate the theme temporarily and see if the issue goes away?

    I am not sure this is an issue with WP Editor specifically, but rather a conflict with another plugin, or even just the theme and WordPress.

    Thanks for your prompt response and for researching this issue. Indeed, it will be crucial for my conversation with the theme developer to resolve this matter.

    Again, you have a wonderful plugin. The post editor of WP Editor is absolutely a must-have for people who write in the Text editor instead of the Visual editor. I could not use WordPress without it.

    Will WP Editor work in visual mode in WordPress 4.4.1 or 4.4.2?

    If not, I’m sure all of your WP Editor users would appreciate it it does.
