hello, yes, for install help here:
    https://www.axew3.com/w3/cms-plugins-scripts/wordpress-plugins-scripts-docs/wordpress-phpbb-integration/
about phpbb 3.1, also think yes because the same example installed at https://www.axew3.com/w3/forums is a phpBB3, should not be any difference

Ok I will re-download also I think you should add a message when successfully connected, I dont know if the sites are now connected or not.

Maybe use ideas from some of the other phpbb bridge plugins

I’ve just checked and it works but will like to use WordPress registration and avatars that’s the only thing stopping me from using it.

about a message when successfully connected:
if the path isn’t well configured, “WP w3all miss phpBB config” message appear on front end (until wp_w3all active). Remember also that until WP admin isn’t also logged on phpBB, when open front-end page, will be logged out from wp.
After all well configured, open front-end (if logged as an admin only on wp-admin, so you’ll be logged out) login now on phpBB, (remember that default admin install on phpBB is switched onlogin on WP to the related WP install admin) maybe using the login widget, and you’ll be logged in also on WP back/front-end as wp admin (and as all others users)

About avatars, i’m looking on, hope on next (soon) release.

About wordpress side registrations: it can be done, but also the integration work ok as is.

‘Exclude certain forums’ from last post will be also included as option.

wordpress side registrations: How can this be done ?

my main site is wordpress and the subside it phpbb

maybe have choice options in settings

Using as is wp_w3all, no you can’t.
As explained on install help, any user is added on WP by username, so if the username do not exist on phpBB, it is very dangerous!
It is needed a script that move existent users from WP database, to phpBB database, before to activate the wp_w3all. Yes Maybe an option about this can be added

    Ok, maybe in the future.

    coming very soon 1.0.2 …
added transfer users WP to phpBB option, so you can transfer WP existent users to phpBB.
Added exclusion for certain forums on last posts.
Improved admin interface, wp_w3all inform you now directly on config page if values you set are wrong or right.
The code is ready and working but i need to well check before to release!

    (@axewww)

p.s about avatars: this option will be available on 1.0.3

    Nice !

Can’t wait to this update ??

    (@axewww)

Updated! 1.0.2 include users transfer procedure:
tested on MySQL 5.6.10 and WP 4.4.2 (but should work fine also on all versions after 3 (i suppose for the code i’ve used… better say i hope so).
The transfer page can be activated/deactivated (so you can remove from wp settings menu after users transfers has been finalized. It is simple, php/html code, that i think should do the dirty transfer job as a raw worker. Thank for your suggestion on this.
    Forums exclusions option added!
