• A number of my websites that have automatically upgraded to 4.4.2 and some new installs are being plagued by 404 redirects from within the wordpress dashboard with no rhyme or reason as to when or why they occur.

For example sometimes when i try to click on the pages button on the dashboard it will redirect me to a 404 page not found error, then sometimes it will take me where i want to go.

It does not appear to be specifically related to one dashboard link or another as i have experienced this error with just about all of them, and across multiple installs.

It has only started happening since the upgrade to 4.4.2. Has anyone else encountered this issue and have any ideas on how to fix it?

My sites are hosted with DreamHost and are all installed through the one-click install tool on the host panel.

Odd, I haven’t encountered that yet.

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
