Users see no 'detach' option in front end Edit event page

    I’m running Events Manager v5.6.2 and allowing registered users with Author privileges to add and edit their own events on the site: https://www.dancesofuniversalpeace.org.uk/

    When they use the front-end edit page and have a recurring event set up, the option to detach one is not visible. I can see it and use it as Admin in the backend, but users using the front-end page see all options like ‘Edit recurring event’ and ‘Delete’, but the link to ‘Detach’ is missing.

    Should it be there, or have I missed something in the settings? I’ve tried upping the access of users to Administrator, but even that did not make the link appear, and when I use the front end page I can’t see the detach link, either.

    It is a bit of a pain for users to have to email me to ask me to detach one of their events – is there some way to make that link appear?

    I’m afraid that this is not available out of the box at the moment however maybe you can try option under Events > Settings > Pages > Other Pages > Front-end management pages > Edit events page

    That is the option I’m already using. However, although it allows users to have a page where they can access the editing functions without the distraction of the backend dashboard view, I don’t understand why that one function, “Detach” was omitted from the list of available functions when that front-end route is used. It seems like a deliberate omission for some reason, rather than a technical difficulty, since all the other editing functions are included.

    I would really like to see “Detach” included at some point in the future, if I may make that a request?

    yes, but not sure if this can be done anytime soon due to other stuff which needs to be done first
