Homepage won't load

I have a fresh install of wordpress and I can’t get the homepage to load for the template. I’ve tried several templates and they all open on the blog posts page. I’ve tried reinstalling DB and wordpress, creating a home page and setting that in General Reading Static Page. I’ve tried deleting htaccess, adding lines of code, permissions. I’m seriously confused at this point.
Whats weird, is in the Add Template page when I preview a template, it does it there also, it won’t load the homepage in the preview.
Any ideas?
