    Hi

All my websites have Audit log Statistics disabled. Did this happen at a recent upgrade? I’m sure this was enabled before…

Also several sites are showing “Get_logs: couldn’t connect to host” message. Could you advise if this is a general issue please.

    many thanks
    Mariette

Is that why Audit Log Statistics are disabled too?

    thanks

Yes, more or less, the statistics are not disabled per se, they are not visible because the plugin needs to have access to the data provided by the API server in order to build the pie charts, since there are connectivity issues with the API server the “get_logs” action is not working, therefore the statistics can not be generated.

Both the audit logs and the statistics will be visible again without any modification once Linode fixes those connectivity issues, thanks for your patience.

They are showing as Disabled in the settings too – that’s why I am confused. I’ve been going through the sites and clicking ‘Enable’ but perhaps I don’t need to do that…?

Yes, you do not need to modify anything, at least for now, it will not work anyway as the connection with the API service is being (intermittently) refused. It appears as “Disabled” because the code that powers the statistics panel assumes that because the response of the HTTP requests is either empty or contains invalid data.

Lets wait a couple of minutes, until Linode fixes the connectivity issues, if the statistics panel is still not visible then I will start checking the source code of the plugin to determine why it switched off by itself.
