Clicking on a category gets 404

    Theme: Total version 3.3.2 (the latest)

    Settings/Permalinks/Product category base:
    – if I leave it blank (so that ‘product-category’ is shown in grey) clicking on a category name gets 404 instead of displaying products in the category.
    – If I manually enter ‘product-category’ clicking on a category name gets 404 instead of displaying products in the category.
    – If I manually enter ‘Product-category’ (not the upper case P)clicking on a category name displays products in the category.

    Can you screenshot all of your permalink settings and provide the system status report.

    Leave the field blank for the product category base. That shouldn’t be a problem.

    Or first try something custom like, ‘test-cat-base’.

    I think something, either plugin or code in the theme, may be changing permalink structures or registering the same permalink structure for something else.
