Uploading Theme

    I tried to upload the K2 theme to my system and got the following error message: The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    I downloaded the theme to my desktop and then dragged the K2 folder to my themes directory on my local drive (in expression web). I then FTP’d the folder to my web host in the same directory. Any suggestions?

    If you look at your wp-content/themes/ directory the problem ought to be obvious to you

    You uploaded a ton of loose files to THAT directory. What you needed to do was follow the structure that you see with the default and classic themes.

    It goes like this, in your case:

    blog/wp-content/themes/theme-name/files (all the crap that you uploaded loosely)
