Cannot upload images

  • Using Media Library, I can no longer upload images. After I select the image to upload, a blank thumbnail appears with a blue progress status bar….and then I get the error massage: “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later”. I have tried over and over again, with different photos, and nothing works anymore. This has been happening for the past 3-4 weeks. The file size of the photos are small (3.00 to 4.00 mb.)

    I have the latest version of WP, and all my plugins are deactivated.

  • Generally 3 to 4 MB photos are not small when it comes to the web. Also some web hosts may limit upload file sizes. File size limits are typically set at the server level by your web hosting service. Talk to your web host about what the file size limit is for uploads. It may be possible to bump it up depending on your hosting service. Again, check with your web hosting service.

    +1 bemdesign. Yes 3 -4 MB is not a small size. Try upload this image: https://i.imgur.com/hffXb4yb.jpg

    If everything work fine, the problem with your “minimun upload size”. Search in google, there are so many solution in there.
